Die TDV GmbH stellt ePOS auf den Messen CeBit (Hannover) und Systems (München) vor. Erste Projekte mit neuen Kunden werden akquiriert und die Arbeiten an der Inbetriebnahme beginnen. Neben ePOS werden auch CAD-Anwendungen entwickelt. Das CAD-Anwendungspaket VARCAD wird vorgestellt und erste Projekte gestartet.
Burda Moden ist einer der ersten CAD-Kunden der TDV. Das TDV-Team entwickelt eine CAD-Software zur Schnittmuster-Erstellung für die Zeitschrift BURDA-Moden.
Der Reifenhersteller Continental erteilt den Auftrag zur Entwicklung einer Software auf Basis von ePOS zur Kalkulation der Reifenproduktion.
Für die Saarstahl AG entwickelt das TDV-Team ein auf ePOS basierendes Angebotskalkulationssystem für Schmiedeprodukte. Das Projekt musste vom damaligen Ministerpräsidenten des Saarlandes Oskar Lafontaine genehmigt werden.

TDV GmbH presents ePOS at the CeBit (Hanover) and Systems (Munich) trade fairs. The first projects with new customers are acquired and work begins on commissioning. In addition to ePOS, CAD applications are also developed. The CAD application package VARCAD is presented and the first projects are launched.
Burda Moden is one of TDV’s first CAD customers. The TDV team develops CAD software for pattern creation for the magazine BURDA-Moden.
The tyre manufacturer Continental places an order for the development of software based on ePOS for calculating tyre production.
The TDV team develops a quotation calculation system for forged products based on ePOS for Saarstahl AG. The project had to be approved by Oskar Lafontaine, then Prime Minister of Saarland.
