Als die ND-Systeme auf UNIX verfügbar waren, war der Markt bereits bei PC-Systemen mit Microsoft Windows angekommen.
In dieser schwierigen Phase, als Bürgschaften von ND ausfielen, half Dietmar Hopp (SAP) der TDV mit einem schnell verfügbaren Darlehen über 1 Mio. DM.

In this difficult phase, when guarantees from ND were cancelled, Dietmar Hopp (SAP) helped TDV with a quickly available loan of DM 1 million.
